Wolfgang Sohn von Gunther vom White Star (Oslo)

Oslo Is the son of our one and only, beloved, Gunther. Like so many of Gunthers’s offspring, his hips and elbows have checked out, he has a preliminary rating of “Good” from OFA at 17 months. Of course, Gunther and Oslo’s mother Trudy also had OFA certificates for their hips along with many more, including Oslo’s pedigree. Oslo represents many years and countless hours of the finest breeding, loving generations of animal husbandry. and God’s hand to produce this one-of-a-kind beautiful creature.

Gunther von White Star (Gunther)

Gunther is a very impressive black and tan male. He is AKC registered and when most people see him they say, “That’s the kind of German Shepherd I want.” He has great color and size. His good looks and disposition are matched by his impressive pedigree, Gunther’s father was our own Jake von Heritage who lived right here at White Star Kennel and fathered many impressive offspring. Jake’s father was Tibo von der Mausespitz from Germany. Gunther’s mother was our own Penelope von Weissstern who was born at the World famous New Skete Kennels, Cambridge, New York! I remember clearly the day Gunther was born and feeling incredibly blessed with one of God’s finest creations. Gunther’s hips have been X-rayed and certified by OFA and his DNA is on file with AKC. Gunther is also WWKC and CKC registered. Gunther has made some very impressive puppies.

Cannelo XVIII (Canelo)

Cannelo is a fantastic black and red male with an impressive pedigree. He has had his hips certified by OFA as GOOD with no evidence of hip dysplasia. His elbows have also been certified “NORMAL” by OFA. Cannelo is very mellow and loves everybody but he has a fierce “don’t mess with me look,” his big head and deep red color give away his heavy European influences, two grandparents are from Germany, one is from Poland with Bulgarian, Polish, German and Slavic Republic sprinkled throughout.

Cody von Hammer (Cody)

Cody is a young gun that brought some new bloodlines into our kennel and so far he has been able to do what two previous males could not, that is get our feisty girls pregnant. Needless to say, he has a bit of an attitude, but he is loyal and trusting of his handlers. Once he gets to know you he is an obedient best friend, but don’t try any funny business with him, he has a lot of energy and does not give up easily.

Cody is solid black with a shiny coat. He has a straight back and is not too large about 90 lbs. His father was born in Germany along with his mother’s grandparents. His extended pedigree reads like a Berlin phone book!

Most importantly he has OFA-certified hips and elbows! With a “Good” rating on hips. Cody also had an incredibly impressive “embark” report, testing “clear” and “normal” on everything that I could see, I’m not too familiar with “embark” but it looked good to me and so far he has been very healthy and energetic.

Cody is a great dog.
