Friendly Owners

We are friendly and courteous and expect the same.  We insist on meeting all new owners, therefore we do not ship dogs nor do we sell them to pet stores or dog dealers.  If you are a dog breeder or dealer or one of the many people who bought a dog somewhere else and just want to find out what you missed out on (it sounds weird but many people do this), don’t waste our time, we would rather spend time caring for our dogs or talking to the many friendly people who we meet.

There is a Difference Between Price and VALUE.

We price our dogs according to what goes into them not just by what the market will bear.  Price is easy to see, but value takes a little more understanding.  Our dogs are not only from the finest bloodlines, not just names and titles but true generations of sturdy and beautiful dogs from professional breeders.  Yes, our dogs have fancy papers, but more importantly, we do all we can to ensure healthy high-quality dogs on the inside with radiological hip screenings and DNA testing where possible. We give our dogs and puppies high-quality kibble, supplements, occasional raw meat, eggs, and bones.  Most importantly, our dogs get lots of love, walks, and clean comfortable surroundings.  We feel that no one comes close to doing what we are doing for the price, and that equals VALUE.

Don’t Be Fooled!

We believe our customers are smart people.  Therefore, we ask you to look closely at all the guarantees that claim two, three, or even five years against genetic defects.  These guarantees usually require you to exchange your dog for one of the breeders choosing, or else they require you to verify the defect at the breeder’s vet or they require you to give proof that you fed your dog a certain diet or that they slept on a certain mattress or many other examples of what might be considered “small print”.  We have yet to see any guarantee that gives you all your money back and lets you keep your dog, which is what most people think they are getting, in our opinion this is deceptive. 

Integrity

We offer an honest three-day health guarantee in which you can bring back your puppy for up to three days for health reasons, for a full refund or exchange of an equally priced puppy if available.  However, we can not pay any vet bills, and any signs of abuse, mistreatment or physical harm will be reported to authorities.  We do not require dogs to be spayed or neutered, but it is highly recommended.  Our dogs are sold as pets only and are not intended for breeding or shows.  Most of our dogs come with limited AKC, WWKC, or CKC papers, but registration may come with an extra charge.

No Dog is Perfect.

No one can guarantee that a dog will be healthy its entire life, no health test on a parent can predict with certainty the outcome of an off-spring, two dogs without problems can produce a dog with problems and vice versa,  and as for treatment and cures, two veterinarians may recommend two different courses of action (the next time you go to the Doctor ask them to guarantee the outcome) and there are many environmental and behavioral factors that we don’t want to judge.  In the end, we feel that each dog is already chosen for you and meant to bring you to a better place in life’s journey wherever that may be.  One thing we do guarantee is that this dog will change your life.

A Dog Paradise?

No situation is perfect, but our four-acre facility offers a clean, safe environment, where you can feel good about buying your next puppy.  Each of our heated indoor runs has its own window for light and ventilation.  Our dogs spend plenty of time outside running and playing usually with a playmate when not breeding.

Each dog is different but in general, we wait until our females are two years old before breeding and we limit the number of breedings before finding the dogs a good home to spend many happy days in retirement or we keep the dog here for retirement.

Many unscrupulous breeders will start at a younger age than…well you’ve heard the stories.  Many breeders and especially pet shops will buy puppies from dog dealers and pass them off as their own or from small breeders but you never really know.  Our puppies are always born right here and loved from day one!  Our puppies and retired dogs are traceable and verifiable.
