Diva von Batu (Diva)

Diva is a delightful bi-colored female. She has a beautiful black and red color that i hope will transfer to her pups. Diva has OFA-certified hips that have been rated “good” and she is DM clear. We acquired her from a breeder who was training police dogs so she is a little more compact which is the way they are supposed to be for jumping out of police cruiser windows. Diva is a bit too sweet for K-9 work but she would be great for agility or just playing ball, she is very protective when it comes to her family. She has long hair, but not the longest, so I expect her pups to have a variety of hair lengths.

Penelope von Weissstern (Penny)

From the world-famous Monks of New Skete, Cambridge, New York. Penny is no longer in this world but her offspring live on so we wanted to tell you a little bit about her. This incredibly beautiful black and red female came to us by a series of events that could only be the work of fate. She was AKC registered with DNA certification. Her pedigree boasts many German imports and both of her parents are OFA certified GOOD. Penny is the mother of our own Gunther and Cy (see males page). Penny passed away here at White Star with Amy by her side after many happy years of retirement with her children and grandchildren.

Gypsy’s Call Up Trudy (Trudy)

Trudy is a beautiful black and tan female who brings some new blood into our strong line. She is perfect in size and color with good proportions and appropriate behavior. But the best thing about Trudy is her five OFA certifications: elbow, teeth, cardiac, patella, and hip. Both of her parents have OFA-certified hips as well. Trudy is a great mother, very loving and caring, and gives her all for her puppies. She is also very protective when it comes to her babies. Trudy is AKC, CKC, and WWKC registered. Her DNA is on file with AKC. Trudy has been genetically tested for Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) and Multidrug Resistance 1 (MDR1) and has been found clear on both accounts.

Gypsy’s Spangled Rosalie (Rose)

Rose is the littermate of Trudy and looks and acts very much like a sister would. She is an impressive female that brings new bloodlines into our kennel. Rose has five OFA certifications: elbow, teeth, cardiac, patella, and hip. In addition to her great health, she is energetic and smart. Rose has the classic black and tan markings perfect size and proportions and she is a loving yet protective mother. Rose is AKC, CKC, and WWKC registered. Her DNA is on file with AKC. Honey Bun (Honey)

Honey is an energetic female who can run and jump like a deer. She is fierce despite her svelt size and backs down for nobody. Honey had her hips rated GOOD by OFA. Honey has had several litters with us now and seems to produce very high-quality healthy pups with a variety of colors..

Dutchess vom White Star (Beemer)

Beemer is a perfect example of generations of quality dog breeding. She was born right here at White Star Kennel and is the daughter of Gunther who was also born here at White Star Kennel. Like so many of Gunther’s offspring that we have kept over the years, she has OFA certified hips with “no evidence of hip dysplasia”. Beemer’s mother is our very own Rose who along with Gunther is enjoying retirement here at White Star Kennel. Both Rose and Gunther have OFA certified hips! Beemer has a very impressive pedigree with many OFA certifications and german imports from noteworthy kennels. Beemer’s quality on paper as well as reality is equal or exceeds nearly all dogs you will see.

Bemmer has a traditional black and tan look, perfect head and a good size and shape. She looks much like her mother, who has never had any medical problems. Beemer is friendly and well-socialized, she has a great bark and is always willing to please.
